A Passion for Rail Travel
Atoll-craft began with a simple belief: that the journey itself can be as meaningful as the destination. In an age of hurried transit, we saw an opportunity to reconnect travelers with a more contemplative form of exploration, one where the landscape unfolds at a pace that invites appreciation rather than anxiety.
Our founders first experienced the magic of Canadian rail travel on a Rocky Mountaineer journey through the Kicking Horse Pass. Watching eagles soar above glacial rivers while dining on locally sourced salmon, they realized that this mode of travel offered something increasingly rare in modern life: unhurried immersion in natural beauty.
Since establishing our Vancouver office in 2015, we have helped thousands of travelers discover the wonder of Canadian rail journeys.
